Blues Brothers Hat

My brother and I are going to a fancy dress at the end of the month as the Blues Brothers. (He's the tall one and I'm the round one before you ask!)

Rather than rent a one-off costume, as it's basically just a black suit and tie, white shirt and a black fedora hat, we're looking into buying the various pieces and keeping them for future fancy dress parties.

The only problem is trying to find a good hat. All I can find online are cheap Blues Brother sets made out of plastic or polyester that look nothing like the hats from the movie which is pictured below.

It seems there isn't a definitive make or model of hat that is an exact match for the ones worn in the Blues Brothers. So far I've found these two.

    and

Now obviously the first hat is the better of the two. However it's €40 including shipping whereas the other is only €12.50. Now I know €40 is not too expensive but I don't usually wear hats (although the hair is getting pretty thin on top so I might start!) so I'm wondering if it's worth spending the money on the first hat when I might not get much use out of it.

Can any one offer up any other suggestions for a Blues Brothers type hat or any other shops online or in Ireland that sell similar hats that aren't overly expensive? I live in Waterford but will be up in Dublin next weekend so any shops in both areas would suit.

Tough one. I would get the correct hat as you will only end up regretting it in the end

They both look alright, and fitting of the part... However the second one appears to be out of stock... and it mentions "herringbone" which would lead me to believe it may be patterned somehow that is not discernable from the photos (Gotta love the hatsandcaps.co.uk zoomed in pics)
