hi all, i was wondering has anyone had an experiences in wicklow gaol. i watched an episode of ghost hunters international last night and they were doing an investigation there. to be honest i never heard of the place been haunted till i watched that show last night. please share your stories .

last time we were there the reports where orbs and smells - both of which we debunked. It's as haunted as my socks if you ask me. Heres a link to when we were there with RTE:

thats probably the most interesting GHI ive seen so far all the same. Gotta love the sound of crickets in the outside shots. Crickets at night in Wicklow?

what do you think that light is at the end of the show when there showing the video footage to the woman >??? they caught a few ok evps too.

definitely interesting. that place is pretty echoy though so Ive no idea what to make of the evps. that light was interesting.

I got nothing much there (with the PIGs). We did hear some interesing bangs recently though, but for me that was it. 6th might add something about his experiences.

yeah we went there with reporters, after telling them not to expect anything we did hear what sounded like footsteps over our head . Stoner things it was a barrel rocking. Either way it was strange .

The PIGs picked up something nasty the second time we where there. A large omminous figure with a taste for shots and a love of wrestling! We havent been able to shake it since!

The show was good. Has got me in the mood to go back. Its very entertaining however ..... paranormal investigations are not that cool. If only you could edit out the crap in real life and have a hours worth of amazing experiences.

I saw the GHI show, wasn't too impressed apart from the 'growl'.

One thing that came to my mind was that they should have talked to the spirits in Irish, maybe they would have responded to that

Funny thing is that part of the prison has motion sensors that sound off to give frights to visitors. That was the first thing i thought of when i heard it .

Not that Im saying GHI is fake. Its just hard to atrribute stuff to the 1798 rebellion when the building wasnt build for another 48 years after the event happened. Thats a long wait to be put into a cell. If the historical information is incorrect then I have to question the paranormal data.

Get your history facts right lads. Its irritating

They used to do night tours there that were good crack but not paranormal orientated. The only thing to do is wait for an open invesitigation to come along on boards ..........

Did the tour today. Was a bit of fun! Didn't feel or see anything but friend saw white figure beside me in the solitary confinement :eek:

May have seen a dark shadow beside my mate in that cell too but could have been my eyes playin tricks on me in the dark. We decided to spook ourselves and close the door for a while in there :pac:
