    Hi,
I have a 95 Honda Civic 1.5 LSI. I need to change the coolant/water mix. Would anyone out there know the exact amount needed to fill the engine block/resevoir/rad (Whole lot!) up?

    Thanks..

    Why not just fill it?

The reason being is that there are two drain plugs at the front and back of engine block. These are very difficult and awkward to get off so I am going about it a different way in order to get all the coolant/water mixture from the engine block...Firstly I will empty the rad, fill with clean water and run the engine . Iwill do this several times with the temp high until I am satisified that all I am getting out of the rad is clean water. Now, this is why I need to know the exact capacity: I will then fill the rad with half the capacity of the system with undilluted coolant. I will then top up to the neck with water and whehey, I have a 50/50 mixture. Obviously I will drain off any air and fill the resevoir with 50/50 mixture.
So, does anybody know the capacity of the whole system??

    Maybe here http://www.hondacivicforum.com/forum/showthread.php?p=621100
Seems most Civics from that year use aprox same amount so you could go for the lower amount and still be close to 50%
