    Vocal's - Layne Staley
    Bass - Phil Lynott
Lead & Rythum Guitar - Randy Rhoads
Lead & Rythum Guitar (2) - Dave Mustane
    Drums - John Fred Young

I know three are dead but the reason's i pick em is because Layne has to have the most unique voice and can reach any height (if you listen to his stuff outside of AIC & Mad Season aswell) you'd understand! He is a big loss to Rock!

Randy Rhaods because he was classicly Trained unbelievable guitar player that has come up with some of the best riff's i know, plus he is one of my guitar hero's,

Phillo Because he's a homegrown hero

Dave Mustaine is a legend, i would've said Slash but wouldn't see how it would work even though he adapts (sh!te im haven second thoughts)!

John Fred Young is a genius and has some killer drum tracks for BSC and he can play drums without sticks (cool)

Vocalist - Axl Rose (Guns 'N' Roses)
Lead Guitar - Eddie Van Halan (Van Halan)
Rythm Guitar - John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Pepers)
Bass - Mark King (Level 42)
    Drummer - Neil Peart (Rush)

Yeah I decided to go for an all living band, pretty much I took the cowards way out rather than choose between Hendrix, Rhoads and Dimebag!

I was surprised to see that nobody had chosen Neil Peart!

Mark King is like the slap bass solo king as well!

    Lead/Rythym Guitar: Dave Mustaine
    Lead/Rythym Guitar: Kerry King
    Vocals: Glenn Benton
    Bass Guitar: Cliff Burton
    Drums: Dave Lombardo

Glenn Benton would have been in his natural role of bass/vocals, were it not for Cliff's mastery of the bass.
