Hello everyone! looking for a bit of info if anyone can help me out, please!

First off whats the situation like work-wise? is it tough to get a job starting off or is there horror stories of people not getting work and having to go home?! what are the type of jobs most people end up getting?

Second im a qualified teacher, does anyone have info on this? as in is it possible to work in a school in melbourne on a whv? does it cost much to get your qualifications recognised over there? is it difficult to pick up releif work?

Ok i know thats a load of questions but any bit of info would be appreciated! Thanks!

Read the what industries are still booming thread.. for a lot of detail! - but the thing to remember is that its not very easy to get sorted, unless you bring a substantial sum of money, you may well find yourself broke and on a plane home. Be prepared to be on the hunt for about 2/3 months.. Work is available but the competition is tight!

    Good luck
