    Hi there,

I am just off the phone there from Sky and they say BBC 3 and 4 are not availavle in Ireland.

I am sure I know people that have them?

Do people know how I can get them?

    Thanks in advance.

Sky is right in saying that BBC3 & BBC4 are not availbale in Ireland on the Irish EPG but only on the UK EPG. This said, you can tune them manually as they are not encrypted on Astra 2D.

    Cheerio

Go onto Other Channels - your installer might of tuned them in for you already...

It would be nice if they appeared in the standard list of channels rather than having to go to a seperate menu, a small gripe I know.

They cannot. BBC only offically broadast them to the UK.

they could if they wanted to, they just don't want to pay the BBC for them...

Sky would have to pay the BBC to put them on the EPG. (Not sure why, copyright on the channel listings maybe?)

Yeah it would be handy but unless you have a UK EPG it cant be done so just have to get used to going through Other Channels....

Since I cancelled Sky I kept the box. BBC3 & 4 appear on my EPG now. Don't know why.

Seems like you've removed your Irish viewing card, and would have rebooted your Skybox at some point to load the default EPG.
