Is neverneverland outside the little green island, or inside it?

Is Bridie allowed to take the little chick permanently out of Ireland without permission from The Duck (say it with a The Hoff type voice). I thought both parents had to agree to this? Wasn't there something in the media in recent years of a case where Ali-Duck took the chicks east before Mammy O'Duck returned to the nest.

in this country Donald Duck has no proper rights (in this situation)...best of my knowledge, for some reason "crotch droppings" are usually property of the mammy - been plenty of debate on the matter and best of my knowledge theres a couple of test cases due before european courts.

Has Donald no rights even though the chick was born in Ireland??

I'm not sure if Donald has no rights - but his rights are certainly limited.

The hague convention might apply to poor old Donald and he could get the kids back. http://hcch.e-vision.nl/index_en.php?act=conventions.pdf&cid=24

Which assumes Bridie went to a nest which had signed the hague convention.

Indeed. Donald might want to get himself off to rich uncle Scrooge McDuck to borrow money for a solicitor.

Is that Bridie or Birdie? I don't think ducks can breed with humans.

I'd say either way Donald will end up with a big legal bill.

If Donald Duck had guardianship or an application for guardianship pending before the District Court then the hague convention kicks in. In which case Donald Duck should contact the department of justice who are the irish central authority.
