ITV moving soaps from Tuesday/Wednesday to Thursday

    Just a heads up, fkom July 20th ITV1 are shifting the soaps about to make way of midweek football on a Wednesday. The Tuesday Emmerdale hour long episode is being halved, and one part moved to Thursday, Corrie moved from Wednesday

    Thurday will go

    7.00 Emmerdale
    (7.30 Eastenders BBC 1 )
    8.00 Emmerdale
    8.30 Corrie
    9.00 The Bill

    Thanks for the heads up.

    Although I normally watch my soaps online now at work (I have a very demanding job ;)) which frees up so much time in the evenings.

    Champions League on both Tuesdays and Wednesday night on ITV 1. With TV3 getting rights for Tuesday night and RTÉ TWO getting them for Wednesday night. Sky and Setanta also have rights for the Champions League.

    Fairly certain, since they are moving the double ep of Emmerdale from Tuesday over to Thursday to make room for Champions League.

    I thought you be looking forward to Trevor Welsh and P. Bonner over on TV3.
