According to news reports this morning, there were 600 people outside the Staples Center for his memorial. Not the million they mere expecting. According to news reports this morning, there were 600 people outside the Staples Center for his memorial. Not the million they mere expecting. There were over 3,000 cops there to control 'the crowd', with a cost of $4 Million to an almost bankrupt city. Media hype or no?

And the contingency plans they had in place just in case the 'frenzied' fans tried to stop the coffin convey and 'remove' the body. Weird. The whole thing is just weird.
