PS3 REPAIRS IN DONEGAL.......................

Does anyone know of any reputable PS3 repairers in Donegal. Mine is 6months out of warranty and got killed after update, I only used it for fifa09 and it froze after an update and refused to read the discs. I contacted SCEE and they jumped on the "rip off ireland" bandwagon and want 160yoyos for repair and they refuse to budge even tho the fault was from them. Im going cold turkey without PS so any advice would be gratefully received.

Was it the latest Playstation firmware update or a game update to FIFA from EA? That sounds a bit dubious to me as I don't think there were any real widespread reports of problems after the last updates. Have you tried resetting the drive to factory settings etc.?

I don't know of anyone in Donegal that fixes them.

I suggest you send them to www.consolerepairesireland.ie in Bray
