Paint colours for apartment ??

Hi there,

I am hoping to repaint my apartment soon. At the moment the living room and kitchen are pained in magnolia (its an apartment and boths rooms are together so to speak) but I would like to go with something different this time but have no ideas at the moment.
There is a lot of wood about the place - wooden floors, wooden doors, wooden window frames, wooden coffee table, wooden kitchen press etc.

There is also a black couch and chair in the living room.

Any tips anybody ?

There is a lovely colour by colortrend and it is called natural canvas its like a gray canvas colour great with wood and black I would paint the doors a gray white eggshell to go with it and keep the floors wood if you can. Just my humble opinion.

Paint the walls in a linen colour matt finish. Paint all the woodwork an orchid white eggshell. ceilings matt white. And if you're feeling very adventurous paint the kitchen presses in a darker shade of the wall colour about 2 tones darker. also if you have a fire place hang wall paper with a bold pattern on that wall as a feature wall. Very popular this season.
