    Hi Guys,


    Has any of you witnessed the Northern Lights? I know they can be viewed in Places like Iceland / Northern Scotland / Norway etc, can they be viewed from Ireland?

    Is it also possible to predict to some degree when they can seen?

    Sorry if this sounds a bit amatuerish, but im a newbie to Astronomy in general but have always been interested in it from a young age.

    Any feedback would be great
