New bike: should I get new pedals?

Ok first of all I like to thank everyone for there advice on me upgrading my trek 1.2. I'm after getting a trek madone 4.5

first of all what do ppl think of this choice and more to my question, I have bbb pedals on my trek 1.2. Should I take these off and put them on the madone or would I be better off getting better pedals?
