    I am goiong to america for a year just wondering wether my laptop and computer will work over there. Any past expierences or advice welcome

    You will need a voltage converter for your power supply as the US use 110v while in Europe 230v is used

    Rubbish.

    All laptops come with a dual voltage power supply.

    You will however need a plug converter - purely to change the shape of the plug, not to change voltage.
