For me at the moment I've got a few things going.

My main campaign at the moment is WFRP, and were running the "Enemy Within". Were nearly finished "death on the Reik".

I have a Solo Sabbat game going which is fun.

I recently ran "Cthulhu Rising". Which is a great little inde game - The adventure was one that I designed which revolved a few Space Marines that ran into a bit of bother, on a derelict ship that they had intercepted.

So what you guys and gals got going?

I'm alternating GMing a Scion (Hero level atm) campaign with another GM in my group. We take turns running scenarios, and co-ordinate overall campaign stuff.

Online I'm running an L5R City of Lies campaign, and a recently started Scion / Deadlands(ish) game. Deadlands setting, tweaked a bit, PCs are Scions, and using the Scion rules. Both are forum games.

Playing, I also have a Shadowrun game with my local group, and a few other online games (all forum based).

Scion.. I've not played that, but it sounds rather cool... :) Deadlands (SW Version) is class!

I've still not been able to go over to the nWOD yet. I still love all the old Vampire stuff (Sabbat of course - the Camierilla are the enemy!:)).

I've not played Shadowrun in years. I can't say I was ever a big fan of it to be honest. Although, this is probably more to due to the a poor GM I had.

Been getting into indie games of late.

    Stuff like:
    Sorcerer
    Dont Rest Your Head
    Lacuna
    SoTC
Savage Worlds (been doing my own home brew Victorian England type stuff - think on the lines of "League of Extraordinary gentlemen", etc.)

Scion is a lot of fun. You play the child of a God or Goddess, doing your part in the secret war between the Gods and the Titans.

As you progress, you go from hero to Demigod to God. What's interesting is that you don't have the general WoD feel of 'keep everythign secret from the mortals'. In Scion, you can choose to be as public as you like. Of course, that's likely to attract further attention from the other side, so its not without risks :)

Cool cool... Sounds like a blast. Would it be a kin to American Gods (but with bigger biceps)?

Kinda. The basic book has the Norse, Greek, Egyptian, Aztec, Japanese and Voodoo pantheons. The Companion adds the Celtic, Chinese and Indian ones.

It also has an alternate WW2 setting with US, Allied and Axis Pantheons, but honestly, the less said about that section the better :)

Even at a basic starter level you can be tossing around small vehicles and pulling off Matrix style stunts. Think of it akin to a supers game and you probably wouldn't go too far wrong.

So far we've fought ice giants, fire giants, trolls, weird aztec monsters, yakuza, shinobi, undead nazis and a giant undead nazi werewolf :)

Heh... Sounds awesome! Generally, I like mid power games. However, it's cool to kick back, and powergame a bit too. Especially, when a game is designed to be played that way. I want a copy now! :)

I'd love the idea of a WWII setting...

Currently running a play-by-post game of Exalted on the patternspider forums. I have a couple of games on hiatus (mostly I put them on hold due to college and illness 2 years back and haven't been able to get them running since) I am hoping I can get my massive Exalted campaign back on track, a party of Dragon-Bloods and a circle of Abyssals, two campaigns in tandem, which was almost on the point of Creation-wide war breaking out.

I am preparing for more new games, though. I want to start another Exalted game, a campaign of Corporation (check it out, it's new and awesome), and after playing Call of Juarez recently I have a PHYSICAL NEED to run a GURPS western.

Not running anything not at cons atm. Playing In Scion and Deadlands though. Which might, incidentally, be a good game for you Sarky. Assuming it;s the Western part rather than the GURPs part that appeals.

I remember Deadlands. I liked it.

But I <3 GURPS for the gritty realism. Friend of mine ran a wildly popular campaign based on the PC game STALKER using it, it's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for.

Start off with the Hero book and the Companion and that's all you really need. Demigod and God add new knacks that you can take, and the Ragnarok book gives new knacks, new purviews and a campaign (Ragnarok itself). That's all there is .. 5 books, and a few bits and bobs online.

In that case, play the standard campaign style and just set it in WW2. The WW2 stuff they have in the book is for an alternate campaign setting thing. You might enjoy it, but most of the commentary I've seen on it, and my impressions from my own admittedly quick skim through that section has been ... not so good.

What's Deadlands like? I kind of have a hankering for a Western after play Call of Juarez too (must be subliminal messages! :D). Can it be easily tailored to only Western stories, without the horror elements to it? And are there any other good western themed games? I wasn't sure whether I should just slap a system together myself or go with an existing one.

Ragnarok! cool... I'm convinced - that's for the advise. I've only ever played "Armageddon" and I really liked it.

Dead lands is cool! The "savage worlds" system is great and very dramatic.

Sure, you don't need to do the horror thig at all. You could easily run something like HBO's Deadwood.

It's very easy to do, Just leave out the setting specific stuff. Ideally, however, you want to run Deadlands Classic, which is slightly different from Savage Worlds.

Basically, There was Deadlands, then there was Savage Worlds, based on Deadlands, which took a lot of the setting specificy stuff out of it, and changed some things. Then they made a version of Deadlands which used Savage Worlds, called Deadlands Reloaded. Personally, I prefer Deadlands Classic, as I find it to be a much more fun game.

    Cheers. I'll give it a gander. :)

I'm more into the savage Worlds version to be honest, but I did like playing DL's classic too.

Reloaded has it's appeal, it's a much faster game, and can be a lot simpler. I just love the deadlands specific flavour in the classic mechanics.

Yeah, I get you there... I guess I'm just so used to playing and running Savage Worlds that at this stage. :)

Have you played any of the ofther other SW settings at all?

Once or twice at cons, but for the most part I came in by way of deadlands

I'm currently running a nice little Plane hoping game in Planescape (using 3.5).

In October I'll be running a Buffy/Angel game set in 80's London.
