    HI,
I have some old Kodachrome colour slides.
I'm wondering where I can get normal prints made from them?
I'm based in Galway but can travel...

    Cheers,
    Pa.

You are probably best getting it scanned by the likes of stcstc and getting a digital print.
The only way to print it in the darkroom is to use the Ilfochrome process and nobody in Ireland does it. I'll be setup to do it soon but it will only be for myself.
http://www.bpdphotech.com/ in UK will do Ilfochrome prints

it depend on a few factors what will be best

if you are planning if bigger prints 16*12 or above you need to either do proper wet prints or high quality scans and inkjet prints

to do decent scans requires the right kit

and generally it costs a little

i have an imacon scanner which when new cost over 9000 euros

so it does produce good results
