    I felt inspired by JP Liz's Sian Reeves Emmerdale post today. I saw she also appeared in Eastenders a while back. How many other actors/actresses have (from the soaps discussed here) appeared in more than one.

    James Sutton (Emmerdale- Ryan Lamb, Hollyoaks- John Paul McQueen
    Ken Farrington played Billy Walker coronaton street and Tom King Emmerdale.

    Which others?

    Does The Bill count as a soap?

    There's a few transitions there for ya.

    Mark Fowler went to The Bill and yer man Jake that owns the club in Eastenders was in The Bill.

    Anthony (Patricks son) the former Eastenders doctor was also in Coronation Street.

    No, no you didnt.

    Diane and Pearl from Emmerdale were both in Coronation Street at some stage

    Thats quite a sweeping generalisation there Liz. Im sure you'll agree that typically only EE actors make the transition. It isnt all one way traffic though, plenty of Bill "rejects" have ended up in soaps

    It's funnier / odder when its a long term character in both soaps.

    i.e. Emily Symons jumping from Marilyn in Home and Away to Louise in Emmerdale.

    Vicky Binns played Ollie in Emmerdale (actually it says she was only in 19 episodes, surprised at that) and then went to play Molly in Corrie.

    Oh yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah - god i'd forgotten that. Weird.

    Maybe she'll play someone called Polly in her next project - geddit?

    Pearl from Emerdale was in Brookside at one point

    And Liz from Corrie and Grant Mitchell and Pat from Eastenders all appeared in Emerdale
