Ipod classic has frozen???

    Hi,

    Apologies if this has been asked before but im in a bit of a panic!! My Ipod has frozen!! Its 3 years old so I think its classed as an Ipod Classic. I plugged it into my computer today to charge it and the do not disconnect message came up but it hasnt charged and my computer is telling me that it doesnt recgonise the device. I cant turn it off or on. I dont know what to do??PLEASE HELP!!! :eek:

    Im afraid to ask....but is it the end for my Ipod??? :eek:

    Did you try to do a reset with the wheel/toggle? (see the link below, there is a tab called 'Reset' in the article about the five 'Rs')

    I find this solves most issues, and i've never had to move on to the retry, restart etc....

    Thanks for that, it worked!! Am all happy again. I had heard that the frozen screen can mean the end for some and was worried thats what happened to mine.

    Ah that's great!! :D Glad its ok now. Nothing worse than when iPod pulls a sickie!
