Grant Question

I'm deferring my offer in UCC until next year 2010.:) I've enrolled on a PLC Level 6 course. I will qualify for a grant for that. If I take the grant for this course will that meant that I won't qualify for a grant next year for my degree course in UCC?.

My understanding is that, yes, as long as you entering a honours degree for the first time you are entitled to the grant. That's what studentfinances indicates:
