Not sure on the price because I didn't really check, but think they could be around €500. My advise would be to have a friend / relative drive you in a nice car with ribbons on it.
I did this, and its best in my opinion, because nobody really see's the bride arriving, and after the cermony they will see the car parked outside but most guests leave the church grounds before the couple and I just don't think it is worth all the money.
You could have a day like we did too where it rained the whole time so there was definately nobody hanging around to see us in the car. They legged it from the church to the hotel, while we stayed in the church getting pictures taken, and when we got to the hotel everyone was inside drying themselves off.

Its down to your budget and whats most important to you, its like the chair covers thing, but if you would really like it then you will pay for it.

+ 1. Hiring a car and driver for a wedding will set you back 500 or so, this is a lot of cash that, in my case at least, would be better spent elsewhere.

We just hired a Classic Bentley S1 for our day in August this year and spent €350 on it. Wedding is on a Thursday so we got a little off.

If you have budget issues, then go with a friends car. The only issue we saw with doing it this was was that we have peace of mind with the hired car and driver.
If you do use a friends car, you have to worry about who is going to drive it, and all the hassle that comes with it.

    Just my 2c.

Use a friends, it is not something you will remember in years to come, unless you love cars or always wanted a special car for the day.

Spend your money on something else you will remember, a special gift for the other half maybe..

We'll be using our own and getting some ribbon to decorate - that way the car is there at the hotel for the day after to get home! Plus it wouldnt be in our budget to hire a car anyhows.

our wedding was a thurs and it cost €250 for an old 1920's Daimler. It was a last minute decision - it was a budget issue so it was last on the list of priorities - but then we got an early cash wedding present we weren't expecting so we decided to splash out. I'm so glad now we did... he collected my hubby first and dropped him to the castle, then came for me. It was €250 total, and we had champagne and red carpet treatment. The driver was lovely, and it made us feel like movie stars! with the champers and everything - and the driver had some great suggestions to the photographer for photos etc! if we hadn't had the money we would've lived without it and never thought any more about it, but I have to say it was one of the extravagances I am glad we stretched to have.
