I am nearly 15 weeks and all my jeans and trousers still fit thank god but someone in passing today mentioned that further along the way you can actually get an elastic that fits into or onto your jeans and stuff so you can continue to wear them.

Has anyone ever heard of this and if so how does it work and is it a special band? I am presuming it needs to be attached somehow to your jeans.

    Hiya,

Lucky you fitting into your trousers still! Im 14 weeks and nothing fits me, I just seem to have got big nearly straight away this time!

Anyway, yes i have heard of them, they are called belly belts or bump belts! I have been looking around some of them maternity sections in the shops for them but havent found any yet! I did see them on a shops web site but i cant remember which shop it was! they are a brill idea tho, as they just attach to either side of your trousers or jeans, and only cost about 20 quid! :D

Good luck, if you find some let me know! :D

I found this site and they deliver to Ireland http://www.birthease.co.uk
I'm going to order them, works out at 20 quid for a range of belts including the delivery. Worth a try. I'll keep you posted on how they work! :o

Hi all, you can get the bump belt in the Littlewoods catalogue and the elastic attachment for trousers, Im nearly sure I saw in an Avon catalogue in the past.

Top Shop do bands in white and black for about 8euro or so. I wore it over my regular trousers with the button undone until about 22 weeks. Was great because maternity trousers have a habit of sliding down that early when there isn't much of a bump to keep them up.

Think I saw some in New Look too. A 3 pack of white, black and blue for about 18 euro.
