    Mate of mine tried one day on 18th with no one around.....
    thing went a mile - 300+ I reckon
    He's a hurler, complete with hurling grip, and it wasn't fully straight but it sure did travel.
    Of course being a hurler the stick to ball co-ordination would be a lot better than mine.
