Dead mans shoes. Brilliant, it's like you are on the baddies side. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead is good too. Any other good ones?

Deathwish (starring Charles Bronson) is considered the quintessential vigilante/revenge film. It inspired the likes of Taken (Liam Neeson) and Death Sentence (Kevin Bacon), which are also very entertaining revenge romps.
I also like the Punisher (Thomas Jane) which is like a very zany take on deathwish. Then there's Kill Bill, which is zanier again.

If you're looking for something a bit more 'off the beaten track' try the French film Irreversible (starring Monica Bellucci), but be warned it's not for the feint hearted and isn't gung-ho like the others I've mentioned.

The final scenes (from 4:00) onwards are great when the music kicks in. Makes you want to cheer them on covering each other. :)

Sympathy for Lady Vengence is great too

Oldboy is frigging amazing! i thought the other 2 films in Chan-wook Park's revenge trilogy were pretty poor though. Lady Vengeance especially.

Agree with OP, Dead Man's Shoes is a fantastic film too. Paddy Considine is incredible in that film.

Jaws: The Revenge, need I say more.

Those are all great examples especially OldBoy.

For something a bit different there's Orca: Killer whale. It stars Richard Harris as a fisherman who decides to make a quick buck and capture some killer whales to sell to ocean worlds. It goes wrong and the female whale and her calf die. The male then is out for revenge. Its been years since I watched it but it was good at the time.

The entire revenge trilogy is absolutely fantastic, but if you were expecting films that were just like Oldboy, then you'd have been disappointed.

Nah, i wasn't expecting films like Oldboy. The Sympathy For... films just didn't really engage me in the same way. Each to their own. :)
