I recently bought a vintage football tshirt, however, I accidentally selected to have a number printed on the back. I did not want the number and it looks pretty stupid in my opinion. I contacted the outlet I purchased it from but they are being no help at all. I was hoping someone would be able to suggest how to remove it…

I was hoping someone would be able to suggest how to remove it manually? I was thinking of that an iron might do the trick but wanted a bit of opinion before I wreck the whole garment.
