Hi all, due to severe lack of funds decided to try a home dye kit on my hair instead of the usual highlights. I tried Clairol, Nice n Easy light ash blonde and it has turned out like a strawberry blonde. As I have reddish skin tone I prefer the cooler blonde like ash so wondering if anyone knows how to rectify this or if…

Hi all, due to severe lack of funds decided to try a home dye kit on my hair instead of the usual highlights. I tried Clairol, Nice n Easy light ash blonde and it has turned out like a strawberry blonde. As I have reddish skin tone I prefer the cooler blonde like ash so wondering if anyone knows how to rectify this or if another home kit is better. On the Clairol website you can chat to one of their hairdressers live but only if you're a USA resident, darn it!

Any advice?
