I had signed up with one of the main ones but over the past couple months (since they got taken over) the service has beeb diabolical. Ive done a few tests on days when Ive not not any calls through and found that at times they havent even the phones on (just went number busy). This happened on 3 occasions and there no no contact from them saying to stop the divert as they had technical problems, obviously preferrign instead to fix it and hope nobody found out to the detriment of my business. Does anyone use a call answering service and whats the fees and would you recommend? I need someone I can trust

Hey Old Gill, I hope you got that last sale!! :P

There is a forum member on here that provides that service www.kbell.ie

They are very nice people and Im sure if you call them they will give you the pricing you need. He may also post a reply here. Sorry to hear the other crowd weren't that good. Best of luck...

Don't use their call answering, but know them and they should sort you out.

If your current supplier have you tied into a contract, I would tell them to get stuffed if they try and hold you too it, tell them it's breech of contract as they failed to provide adequate service, threaten to sue them for loss of income.
