    Hey,

Ok so I washed my passport back in January.
Its abit crumpled and all the stamps are now smugged. There were a lot.
Importantly though, the page with the picture, the colours underneath have run slightly and it doesnt look too good.

I used it when I went skiing (flew to Munich) in February, and they didnt seem to scrutinize it to much in Dublin airport however in Munich they were, lets say, less than impressed with it and me.

Anyways I am off to Lanzarote on Saturday - Any ideas if it will be ok again?

    Thx

    N

No one can say yes or no, to be honest. It'll be up to the immigration inspector on the day whether or not they're convinced/happy with it.

Shell out for a new one for future trips, or even for this one if you feel inclined to go to the Passport Office. Problems solved.

To be honest I wouldnt think so, but given your only going to Lanzarote and not hughly far afield its less so. I had a pass passport with a couple of lifting edges recently (dog ears if you kow what i mean on the plastic picture part everything else was ok,) I got stopped on my way out of Heathrow to India and got a fair bit of grief.
They can get fairly sticky, but your not leaving the EU so maybe, I wouldnt chanc it myself but by the time you get this your robably on your way.

Best of luck but Id bring maybe a drivers licence also maybe.
