Mounting an LCD on a metal stud construction wall

I've just moved into a new apartment and my electrician is having problems mounting my 46" LCD on the wall as it is a metal stud construction wall. Does anyone have any experience in mounting a heavy TV to this metal stud? AFAIK, it is about 2mm thick by 40mm wide steel and 16" intervals.
