Small Parts Milling

Can anyone give a personal recommendation on someone who could mill a couple of small parts for me please out of alloy/stainless? Could just start ringing engineering shops and take my chances, but figured I'd ask here first.

I'm looking to have a couple of bits machined for an old PTO winch and a newer winch too - Control lever ends etc. Also considering having a conversion plate duplicated, depending on how hideous that would be cost wise.

    Ta,

    Gil

A mate has recently set up a small engineering business specializing in jigs & fixtures for industry, he was pretty busy when last chatting to him but he can turn his hand to many things. Might be worth chatting to, Sligo based, can post contact details if you wish.

    Hi Gil
I could do it for you (depending on what your definition of small is). I have a CNC Milling machine - so could work from a CAD file, a line drawing with dimensions, or even a scanned image of a part. .(max part size would be approx 380mm X 140mm)

Also have a manual lathe and milling machine as well as AC/DC Tig (can weld aluminium), MIG, plasma cutter, box folder, guillotine etc etc.

I'm in Kerry though - I believe you're in Wicklow?
I'm into cars (motorsport & classic) & Range Rovers so have an understanding from the end user side.
PM me if you are interested.
I'm cheap too :D - I don't have a business (yet) - this is all just stuff I built up for my own car hobby.

Ah sure, Kerry and back is only a tank worth of diesel, isn't it? ;-)

Can you drop me a PM with your number and I'll give you a shout to see if we can work something out?

What corner of the Kingdom d'you call home?
