    I'll post a link later, but I heard a great story today regarding a thomson flight from Menorca to Glasgow over the weekend. The passengers were informed that there was a problem with the plane and there would be an 8 hour delay while an engineer was flown out from the UK to fix it.

    Fortunately, a guy steps forward and declares that he is an engineer qualified in that aircraft, the captain has a chat with him, the plane is fixed and the flight turns up in Glasgow only 35 minutes late!

    I flew out of Menorca saturday evening with Monarch and there was a thomson plane parked away from the terminal, so I guess it was that one. Somewhat lucky for the passengers I would say.
