band outside HMV today

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows the name of that band that was playing outside HMV on cruises street aroung 1.30pm today? kind of jazzy yet funky (also known as jazz fusion apparently)! appreciate it :)

Nope, but walked by there at lunch time yesterday and they were pretty good. Maybe ring the store and they can tell you who it was.

When I was going by, they were playing a song that was defo strongly influenced by Jaco Pastorius, who was one of the great Jazz bass players before his death/murder, and he would be a good place to start if you like the style being played there yesterday, as he was one of the people that brought Jazz fusion and other styles to the attention of the mainstream in the 1970's and 1980's.
