    Hi,

I have a 5 month old pup who has been throwing up for the past 3 days, the vet has said he either has a gastric bug or a blockage in his stomach. I have to leave him in the vets tomorrow for a few nights as he has to be put on a drip, they are gonna do an x-ray too and he may have to have an op later in the week.
Has anyone any idea how much the vet will charge per night and roughly how much would this operation cost ???
    Thanks Annette :o

Two years ago a vet in Sandymount charged approx. €700 for a one night sleepover plus removing object (bone) from duodenum.

Hopefully your dog has just a tummy bug :)

Not sure how much it might cost -- you can always ring the receptionist and ask her for a rough quote.
Also have you not got your pup insured?
