Hi-not sure if this is in right section but here goes. I presently Have Eircom wireless broadband with a box (Im sure it has a more complicated name) I have a Dell laptop which I run Internet on.. Im thinking of buying a 2nd lap top so I can occasionally bring it to work.

The Wife uses the present one for work she does from home-thus my need for a 2nd. Anyway-Can you run two laptops off the one connection? Can I have internet on both at same time?

I think I have original codes somewhere but If I don't can I get them off Eircom? Encryption codes?

You can connect numerous laptops to your Eircom wireless.

Your wifes laptop should be able to detect the wireless signal just like your one. Then just connect and off you go.

Use the disk that came with your router if you want a straight forward menthod to connect (I'm assuming you haven't changed the default settings).

Yes you can. You can run as many as you like, however you internet speed will be split across 2 laptops instead of one, so you may find it's a tad slower. Although that would only really happen if someone was downloading something
