I'm currently designing a website on Dreamweaver, CS3, Mac and getting the dreaded 404 error when it's on live.

    Server Error

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Anything I can do on it? Cheers..

You might be better posting to the web design forum for a quicker answer.

Are you uploading it to the server using dreamweaver or with an ftp program?

Are all the files in the server directory?

I've redirected it to the web design forum... Im uploading using Dreamweaver and the files are all in the root folder.

You've got the home page named "index.htm" right?

Yep, turns out the problem was the files needed werent on the remote server but the local one, had to transfer it. That did the trick, cheers for the suggestions!
