    Hi All,
sorry if this has been covered before...but..

I've got a Philips Aurea Ambilight, which is going to be wall mounted in a new room, currently under construction. The electrician has suggested that the best thing for me to do is go out an but a cable for each connection in the TV and then he'll chase the cables into the wall for neatness. Once the cables are in, they won't easily be coming back out, so I want to make sure I do this right, 1st time.

Has anyone any suggestions on where to go in Ireland to get good quality cables at good prices, specifically I'll need the below, (also I'll need to have within the next week or so, so time factor is import.)

Each cable will need to be 5 meters...

    I'll need
    • scart X 2
    • Component Video Y Pb Pr and Audio L/R (single L/R)
    • Audio Out L/R X 2
    • Digital Audio In
    • Digital Audio Out
    • HDMI X 3
    • Standard Video
    • S-Video

Any suggestions on supplier would be gratefully received!

What happens when you upgrade your tv in a couple of years time and it has SDI interface?

Would you not be better having the electrician/builder install some convenient trunking so that you can run whatever cables you wish?

In fairness, you should probably get away with 1 scart and 1 hdmi and use an AV box to switch sources.

In any case, I have bought very very good cables from www.markgrantcables.co.uk
