looking foa scanner in northeast

    hi i need some one to scan my suckler cows had vet doing it last year but scanned some animals not in calf that where never told me cows where expecting twins and was way out on some dates:eek: i live in the north east

    i use a man, Paul Kirk--seems to be good, using him only 2 yrs now-but find no probs with him! is not overly costly from my reckoning!

    theres also a man,works for Progresstive genetics,ai man! Ciaran shields,he scans also..never heard reports about him!

    if u want i will pm there mobile no's on to you! just yell

    oh i--i have sold on my 3 bulls, so have none at mo--will have 1,in the back end of this year!

    please pm me paul kirks number ... i did pass your details on to a few people there seems to be alot of people looking for aa bulls this year for cows , saw an ad in jounal last week bulls pbr for 850 euro can deliver:eek:

    hmm--i sold my bulls a Saturday--Mart! had them advertised...

    Got €1200 for the best bull, €1050 for another..and 1 had no papers--got €950...
    happy enough with prices!!
    they were 500kg on average--dissappointed with there weighs...they were march/april 09..

    is there many a looking--i had no calls,compared to other years,had them advertised...
    alot dairy men going for friesan or hereford bulls..

    we had 6 people 5 of them coming back after buying bull before and i new guy .. i have a friesian bull myself cost me 3 grand last year and i use the angus on heifers

    €3k fresian bull--must b a gd one! not ai, better value for ur dairying

    well i had a baby last year and couldnt get anybody to milk my cows and i got someone a few days before i went to hospital but his heat detection wasnt great so bought the bull , also i got a whopper of an ai bill there in april this year and let bull straight out he has an ebi of 180 and has some fine calves on the ground with the way the milk price is i thought i should get some value out of him
