trek mountain bike is it any good, is it good value

    hi all, just looking for peoples opinions, have got a quote for a new trek mountain bike it is a trek 6000d hardtrail and the quote is 745euro and a quote for the 6300d at 849euro, just wondering are they a good bike and is it a good price for either of these models as im getting it through the bike to work scheme i kinda have to go throgh a bricks and morter shop as am sure you can get them a bit cheaper online. what do ye think?

    Before anyone else asks... will you be going off road? if not why not get a road bike?? mtb for mountains, road bike for roads:-)

    will be 90% mountain biking, just availing of the auld tax break
