Burning Problem

Im having a problem burning some video onto a disc. I'm using Nero vision and when I try to burn it it says there is not enough space left in temporary files says it needs 4568 MB and I only have 3575. I don't really know why I need so much space. Is there a way that I can change the settings so that I can use space elsewhere on my pc?

While I don't know how to change the temporary folder for your nero vision program, a way of clearing disk space on your pc is to run disk cleanup (Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools) to clear up log files / temp files etc.

What free space have you got on the PC ?
If you have space on your

drive or other Partition you can edit you Environment Variables and redirect your temp folder there

There's a very quick program called "ATF Cleaner" to clear out All Temp Folders on your PC. It usually frees up at least 300-400MB..

Thanks folks, I did the disk cleanup and cleared up a gig of space on my C drive but still not working?? I have 3.49 gb free on C and 87.4 gb free no D drive but there are items in the temp folder that I am afraid to delete but its only a 16mb in it anyway.

uch how do I edit the environmental variables?

Why dont you move some files from your c drive to drive? If your computer is too full it wont function properly

Ive moved pretty much all I can that I know won't cause problems if you know what I mean but even after clearing up loads of space last night the same problem occured so I think I just need to change the configuration to use temp files in D drive instead of C

at the start of the process in nero vision go to "more"-configure-folders, change the c: to d: (sorry make a new folder on d drive call it nero temp)nero temp, see attached image.
