Yes you can. Near one end of Khao San Rd in BKK there is a Thai Post Office. Dont use an agent to post a box for you- it may never show up and you'll inevitably pay a premium.

AFAIR the post office sell boxes for sending. I remeber sending around 6 kilos home a few years back and it cost somewhere in the region of €40 or so.

Yeah its really easy to post from Thailand, I've posted twice, once from Phi Phi and once from Bangkok and both packages got home within a week and cost in the region of 20euro not bad just make sure you squash everything into the box!

Lol, I remember the first time in Thailand my gf brought tons and tons of useless beads and other crap. We sent home about five or six kgs by seamail (the cheapest obviously). The package arrived at her house about three months later absolutely soaking wet. She peeled it open!

Anyone know the most cost effective way of posting stuff (clothes etc) from bangkok/Chiang Mai or will it cost me more than what it is worth?
