mtb trail killaloe

    im new to the mtb lark... i bought a boardman comp hardtail thru cycle to work scheme...have been to cratloe so far and ballyh great craic altogether i tink im addicted already..:D
    anywho been looking around a few of the mtb forums and have read about trails in killaloe anyone out there got any directions where to start from etc??? as i dont live too far from there????

    Yup just ask over on MBUL's forum and you'll get directions quickly enough.

    By the way the trails are much better than the Ballyhouras but a bit more difficult and it's easy enough to have a nasty fall out there so take your time the first time around so you know what's coming at you.

    just got a new mtb myself, am in the killaloe area myself, and been planning on heading up that mountain with the bike this wednesday for a look. have hiked all over that mountain as a kid so have an idea of the area...can post more once i have a look

    hi mossy did you get a chance to try out these trails??? ive been out there but didnt have time to cycle around just had spare half hour so just took the dog for a walk.
    parked in the carpark in the forest and just walked up tp top of 1st trail to the lookout. didnt see mauch in way of mtb trails though are these further up???

    ended up in ballyhoura again...am travelling this week but am still hoping to get to it before the end, the hill is only 10 minutes from my house so if i get a chance will give it a go
