Car Jumping in 1st and 2nd gears

    Ford fiesta 99 1.25 starts jumping for a few seconds when being changed from First to 2nd gears.Any ideas what could be wrong and its not due to bad driving,cheers

    does it also do it if you put your foot down in a higher gear from a slow speed?
    could be an engine/geabox mounting gone.

    A faulty lambda sensor can cause that. Any garage that has a diagnostic rig (Advance Pitstop etc) can check it in minutes and replace it if necessary.
