    As far as I can tell, it would appear so but no interactive/fancy teletext (no MHEG-5).

    It is advertised on the internet as a Freeview twin tuner recorder. As a freeview product it should be MHEG5 compliant. Can't find anything official.

    That particular Philips leaflet carries the French TNT logo. The Philips UK website does not advertise the product but the French website does.

    It is MPEG4 compliant, also MHEG5 is not a necessary requirement to receive Irish DTT. It should work here.

    Word of warning. pixmania tend to label Freeview on french products on their site but I wouls not trust 100% that they are MHEG5 compatible
