This is where we can discuss what shows are available to stream over the web for free, and what we are currently watching.

It can include Uk Players: BBC Iplayer, Channel 4 on Demand, Sky Player etc.
    Irish players: Rte player
US players: ABC, NBC et al.

if you want to discuss how to access these players from an Irish computer please look here or ask in the Broadband forum.

I must say I am very impressed with the new ABC player,
it fluctuated between standard definition and high definition seamlessly based on your current download speed.

Does ABC have a downloadable player like NBC? I don't like streaming content from these websites cos its so slow.

This thread is a no-go.. from our charter:
    New Additions - June 2009

    * Please do not discuss how to capture / download streaming content from any streaming video site. This includes YouTube, RTE Player, Google Video, Metacafe, Hulu etc

    * While we're on the subject, discussing how to bypass geographical limitations to watch streaming content is also a no-no (i.e. how to watch Hulu outside the US)
