i lived there for a year got most of my deposit back. But we didnt have any major parties in our apartment. They will take money out for everthing. i think they charged something like 5 euro for a missing glass and even charged for blown lightbulbs

Don't ever have parties. Hell, don't ever have anyone at your house. Never make any noise. Don't give them a reason to come over. Do a complete inventory on your place and report any breakages/missing items on day one.

Then will you get your full deposit back.

That's when threatening to burn the street to the ground comes into it's own.

I went to Glassan in 2006 and was ripped off. Very expensive and got not desposit back, only a cheeky letter saying I owed them 20 EURO more. Thats coz the animals I was living with made shhit of the place and I was left pick up the tab becuase of it. I cleaned the place very well before I left and that wasnt enough, so they charged me to hire in the own cleaners. Theres no point in even trying

The moral of the story is to be very careful who your house mates are, becuase you end up losing more money I the end if you choose the wrong ones. Glassan management couldnt give two flying apes, as long as they screw you for everything in your pocket, that includes in their overpriced junk food shop

The deposit this year is 670 euro and out of that you can only be refunded 250 as the rest is for electricity, bins and stuff!
They will charge you for absolutely everything thats missing or broken but as long as its nothing major, you should get most of it back.
