Non-chemical solution to woodworm?

A friend who has bought an old cottage has discovered woodworm in an old dresser and in some of the roof timbers. He wants to avoid the use of possibly harmful chemicals in the house (so he's using organic paints, for example).

Obviously, though, the woodworm must be treated. Does anyone know of effective, alternative approaches to the problem?

My brother who lives in California has his house treated for termites with Orange Oil . Any product with d-Limonene as its main active ingredient should work.
The treatment for termites is localized spot application of each identified termite infestation and will only kill termites in the areas treated. Treatment requires drilling into the infested wood members and injecting the product into the termite galleries. Orange oil is effective for drywood termites but I have no experience with it working on woodworm.
