    Hi,
    Thinking of travelling LDlines from rosslare to le havre at the end of August. Price seems very reasonable when compared to Irish ferries. Has anyone ever travelled with them before? What are they like, is the ship clean and comfortable? We have a 2 year old with us, is the ship child friendly?

    All I can say is that the ship is use from The UK to France during the rest of the week. So i would expect the overall standard to be good.
    A point of interest though is that we booked with Irish Ferries for September at a total cost €297 for camper, 2 adults and an inside cabin - not bad.
    We paid over €1100 to Brittany Ferries three years ago - for August.

    thats an incredible price, how long ago did you book, thats hardly a return price. What dates are they?
