Jerry "the king" Lawler in critical condition

"July, 4th 2009 -- WWE Hall of Famer and WWE RAW ® broadcaster Jerry "The King" Lawler is said to be in critical condition in a local San Diego hospital. Jerry Lawler was found in a car wreck off the interstate along with two other cars in what is being described as a "disturbing" view of a collision. Lawler was reported to have suffered severe head trauma and to be in critical condition on life support. While we are not confirming his death, it only seems imminent in a matter of hours. Please stay with us for further developments."

yeah hopefully it isnt true, maybe it was reported incorrectley though like perhaps someone else was injured/critical i dunno but I would think even if it was 100% false it will be commented on again somewhere. hope hes alright though

If it was pulled it's either because they were asked to pull it til people were informed or because it's BS. Obviously I'm hoping it's the latter.

Hope its not true...if it is, I hope he comes out of it ok.

If its not true, thats one of the many sick rumours of the past few weeks about "celebs" being dead. Sad really.

Could it be that the WWE respect The King so much that they will not let out any info just yet to whether this is true or not?

It was never actually on PWInsider. Someone posted it on DVDVR first I think. It's not written in the way that PWInsider would report something anyway, they'd never call a death "imminent"

Wouldn't have been the first, or second, death of a wrestler in a car crash on July 4th though
