Sky tv cancelation

    Does anybody know will there be any charges etc if i cancel my sky??

    I only got it last week but would rather just have the pipe "cheaper" etc

    yes i think you will have to stay for the duration of the contract....may be a year or 18mths

    Pretty sure you have a basic contract, so I'd say a cancellation fee will ensue, but why dont you want it anymore?

    Just want to go 2 ntl and get setanta etc;),Any idea what it would cost as i went not direct with sky??

    Consumer law probably applies even to sky.

    You may have 14 days to change your mind...

    Look into that and act quick.

    if your saying you want setanta on sky i did that years ago and called them they put me through to setanta studio's in scotland and they told me sky aren't contracted with setanta so if you want 1 setanta channel it's an extra 15 euro a month for 1 channel!!! but i think you have to stay with sky until the contract is finished then just stop payin the bill after 5 months they'll just cancel it themselves
