Help with Pub league

    I am trying to restart a game in the local pub.

    We normally get 10 runners each week

    It used to be €10 to buy in with €10 from the pot , €10 from the bar and all the rebuys from the first 2 levels going to a final game after 12 weeks.You had to play a minimum of 9 nights from the 12 to qualify for the final

    The starting stack was 40 chips and the blind levels went 1/2 2/4 3/6 4/8 etc. (this is the way we ran it from the start and didnt bother to change it)

    We like to get 2 games a night and normally have about 3 hours to play.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for:
    • The best way to run the league
    • Blinds structures
    • putting funds aside for the final game
    • how to qualify for the final
    Any help would be appreciated

    you need to atract new players , try to get up to 20+ players and increase your buy in to maybe €30 and have a freezeout . you can have 15 or 20 min blind levels with 3000 starting stack , have a look at the structures in the other threads. You dont say i you take a reg for running the game so how about taking €5 out of each €30 that way you can build your pot for the final. so if you can get 20 players x €5 ie €100 a week you can advertise the final for an estimated €1000 , so the bigger prise pool will attract more players.
