    PunkBusters newest patch is kicking lots of people, it would seem. Last played CoD4 on Wednesday last, but today, get the "disallowed program/driver 125120" error.

    So far I've switched off:
    Winamp client
    BulletProof FTP Server
    Daemon tools
    Gigabits CPU power usage monitor.
    Truecolor
    ATI's icon in the tray

    Firefox is left off whilst in game.

    Switched off "ATI Tray Tool", and it now seems to work okay.

    Different things cause this. xray (?), xfire, winamp, etc, running in the background have caused the problem for others, so it doesn't seem to be one particular program that causes it.

    Judging by the Google hits, this affects lots of people, so this is more or less an information post.

    It just shows that punkbuster is a pile of sh*t. Made me have to buy a new copy of COD4 because I got the GUID ban. Punkbuster "suspected" that I was using cheats. My ass! >:(

    Do you have Mumble installed? Mate of mine had similar error message. Mumble was clashing with PB...
